The movie is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor on Balaji Motion Pictures Studio. The music is provided by Pritam Chakraborty (well known as Pritam). The movie is a group work of team from “The Dirty Picture” and “Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai”. The first trailer of Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2 was released on 28th May 2013. First it was decided to make the movie with name “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again/Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Returns” and later it was decided to change its name to “Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara” and release the second trailer of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara on 4th July 2013.
