Shootout at Wadala is a Bollywood movie  that covers the story of an police encounter after Shootout at Lokhandwala which is released in the year of 2007. It is based upon the gang war of Bombay at the time of 70s and 80s. At that time the Bombay police made the statistic of encounters. The cops shooting down a criminal in the middle of the road, in the daylight. The success of Shootout At LokhandWala made the producer to built the supervision suspension story. What the incident? Who the first victim? Who create the concept of encounter killings and why? Who was the mastermind? Sanjay Gupta is the director of the film, also a producer with Ekta Kapoor.

Story Line:

January 11, 1982: Manya Surve was shot at wadala. Manya was only one Hindu gang in Bombay. Manya Surve as the first encounter with Mumbai police which took place at the junction of Dr. Ambedkar College, Wadala, Bombay on 1 November 1982. The filmwas released on 3rd May 2013.

Starting From Begin:

From the 50s to 70s Bombay ruled by a particular gang the Pathans. In the 70s, a young man stood up to challenge their power and to end their reign of terror with terror. His name is Sabir Ibrahim Kaskar, and his younger brother in the second command, Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar. At that time the cops were decided to end the Pathans by backing Sabir and Dawood against them. So of the war between the Pathans and Kaskar brothers started, blood was on the streets, and law & order become jokes. At that time of war, somewhere in the middle of this a young man Manohar Surve, fresh out of Kirti College, got implicated in a murder. He did not commit and was sentenced to life in Inyerwada jail. After 9 long years, he escaped and returned to Bombay with solo intention of getting into the underworld, then he decided to form his own gang. Thus was born the legend of Manya Surve. The first educated Hindu gangster whose reign of terror in the area of agar bazaar, Dadar. Manya Surve was known for his daredevilry and strategic planning. For him it was clear to shoot to success. The top gang in the city had come asking him for help, and he would eliminate the other, and he said “Bombay ka Naya Baap”. On 12th Febuary 1981, Manya along with the Pathans, planned and executed the most infamous murderer in the history of Bombay underworld. Sabir was killed at the Prabhadevi Petrol Pump outside Siddhivinayak Temple in the dead of the night. That was the night Dawood took over the leadership of the gang. That was the night the Dawood-gang was born and Dawood swore revenge. Each and everyone involved in Sabir gruesome murder met with a worse fate except Manya. He vanished in city like Aniddle in a Haystack. Dawood and his boys were unable to trace Manya. The same time Bombay Police had decided that they would no longer stand on the side as lookers. The police sent a message to the underworld, no more nonsense. And thus was operation Manya Surve. Inspectors Isaque Bagwan and Raja Tambhat were put in charge. On the 11th January, 1982, Bombay has witnessed its first ever Police encounters outside college. In the annals of police history, it’s known as the Shootout At Wadala.
